TV unit design · Jamshedpur
The wall the room is organised around.
Storage, cable management and the wall behind the screen designed as one piece — so the TV does not sit on a stand in front of a blank wall.
A TV wall is architecture, or it is furniture.
Most TV units are bought as a stand. The screen goes on it, the set-top box sits underneath, the wires hang, and a year later someone adds a panel behind it that does not match. The seating was never measured against the screen height, so you watch with your neck slightly up.
We draw the wall as one elevation. Screen height against the sofa, storage for the things that actually live there, cables inside the unit, and lighting that makes the wall look finished when the TV is off — which is most of the day. The unit should still read as a designed wall when nobody is watching.
What's included
You can take the unit alone, or the wall, ceiling and lighting with it. Priced so you can see the difference.

TV walls we have built
The screen is the easy part. The work is the wall when the screen is off.

What you do not see
The cables, the socket behind the screen, the ventilation for the box that runs hot. That is most of the job.

Questions we get asked
If yours is not here, ask us directly — we would rather answer it before you commit to anything.
How much does a TV unit cost in Jamshedpur?
A wall-hung unit is one number; a full feature wall with panelling and lighting is another. We measure the wall and the seating, agree the scope, and give you an itemised estimate — unit, wall treatment, electrical and lighting priced separately.
What size TV should I buy before you design?
Bring the size if you already own it; if not, we will recommend a size from the viewing distance, not from the wall width. A screen that fills the wall from a short sofa is tiring. The unit is drawn around the screen you will actually live with.
Can you hide the set-top box and wires?
Yes. That is most of why the unit is custom. Closed storage with ventilation, a point inside the carcass, and a route for the cables so nothing hangs. Infrared or a small cut-out if you still need to point a remote at a hidden box.
Do I need a feature wall, or just the unit?
Often just the unit, if the wall is already a decent paint and the rest of the room is quiet. A full feature wall is worth it when the TV wall is the one you look at from the dining table, or when you want the lighting integrated. We will say so before you spend on panelling.
How long does a TV unit take?
Factory time is typically two to three weeks. Installation is usually a day, longer if there is panelling, a false ceiling cove or electrical work in the same wall. The wall has to be painted or finished before the unit goes up.
